On my way home from the gym the other day I spotted a guy walking, not very odd really, right? He was probably 30ish, wearing a suit, carrying a briefcase, in a nice part of town. Again, not very odd right? I didn't think so either until I realized he wasn't wearing any socks or shoes.

He didn't look disheveled, or homeless, the suit, probably not Armani, wasn't found in a dumpster or ill fitting either. I for the life of me cannot come up with any reasonable explanation as to why this man was walking around in a suit, barefoot. Nothing. Absolutely nothing comes to mind, yet I can't stop thinking about this man.

When we lived in Hawaii I'd often see men in suits- with flip flops.

Maybe in his travels he came across someone without any shoes so he gave them his. (That's what I would like to think anyways.)

I actually saw a story on 20/20( or one of those type shows)about a movement of people who don't wear shoes b/c they said that it was really bad for the feet. Strange, but true. Maybe he was one of those people???

Perhaps he had a crazy night out the previous night; woke up next to some strange chick; realized she'd swiped his shoes and socks and decided it was worth it to hoof it bare foot than risk waking the crazy girl up and get sucked into a long, drawn out ordeal about why it just wasn't going to work between the two of them?

No? Okay then :)
