Something is Very Wrong Here

I am not a fan of McDonalds, usually. Ever. It's never been one of those places that gets into my rotation when eating out. I think the fries are soggy, and they never put enough ice in my drink. We have successfully avoided the almighty Happy Meal addiction for the Munchkin, in fact I think she was almost 2 before she was introduced to her first little box of grossness. Lately, though they have their drinks, all sizes, for a buck. Since I have a "big drink" obsession, as well as needing a very steady hit of sweet tea, I've been hitting up the drive through for a large sweet tea with extra ice, quite frequently. Maybe it's the smell of the soggy fries coming into the car, but I have been craving a Big Mac in a Big Way. I will not allow myself to be sucked in... I cannot afford myself the extra calories on a meal that I know I won't really enjoy. I think I will save it for Friday night Mexican night instead.

Step away from the McDonald's... :)

Did that help?

I don't know if it's my advanced age, or what, but lately EVERYTHING from Micky D's has tasted like butt. Big fat hairy, with boils butt!

Yes, that bad.

So now when the kids want it, I order for them and stay away, occasionally getting a Diet Coke - BIG Diet Coke. :)

I hear you...McDonald's is far from great. We took the kids there today after hair cuts--you'd think we'd given them the moon!

To me, Mickey D's always smells good, but the moment I eat anything from there I feel yucky. Good for you for not giving in - my problem is I usually give in :)

I'm with you! I've been sucked right through those arches all for a big drink that only costs me some change out of the ashtray!

Their Big Mac has like 550 fat grams or something crazy like that.

I try to reserve McDonald's for emergencies...like major hangovers, long car trips when they are the first restaurant you come to when you exit the interstate and serious diet withdrawal.

Sadly, my son (who hates meat) somehow will eat a McD's burger. I found this out by chance. And, now, after years of HATING them, I'm there way more often than I'd imagine possible.

Ahh you and me both. I hate it, and I don't eat it usually. But then on occasion...I get that craving. Man oh man.
