My babies went to sleep at 10:30 last night, they woke up this morning at 3:50. Do you know what this means??? Mommy got 5 hours of sleep! Thank you rice cereal.
We went to the Dr to discuss the twins ongoing reflux problem, as a result, they were put on Zantac and I was told to give the Enfamil A/R, or, since I have a whole case of Similac, add rice cereal to the formula. It's a win, win. They are no longer throwing up (only twice since last week) and they may actually be on the road to sleeping through the night. Me. So. Happy. I'm actually doing a happy dance, right now. No kidding.

That is great! Momma finally got a little sleep! Life is good! heh!!!
Hip Hip Hooray!!! Only a Mom would be thrilled with a mere 5 hours of sleep! Hope they are on the road to an all-nighter! :)
That's great! I'm glad to hear you finally found something that worked. Now you can catch up on some zzzzzz's. My kids doctors would never give me anything for there spitting up. I used to get so mad because they would say oh he/she is just a baby, that's what babies do....no that's not what babies do. They do not projectile vomit all the time.
YEAH! Glad to hear the twins are feeling better. I remember the first time Miss Priss slept for 6 straight hours...once I got over the initial panic and saw that she was okay, I just cried from the relief and joy that I might actually get to sleep like a normal person again!
With twins, I imagine it's double the triumph!
Congrats!!
Woo hoo!!!!!
I was in the same boat with Madie. She had reflux so bad...Zantac helped, but the rice cereal was the ticket. I know how frustrating it can be...hang in there it will get better.
Hallelujah for Zantac & rice cereal! Serious business. My JuJu Bean could projectile vomit clear across the room. We went through the same thing with her. This is what I know to be true:
1) 5 hours of straight sleep can make you feel like a NEW woman! No doubt. More of these nights are to come. Yippee!
2) The reflux should go away all together after at least a year. I'm thinking The Bean's just ended around 9 months-still a ways to go w/ Mary Kate & Ash, but it'll be here soon enough.
3) Zantac worked for a little bit, but JuJu ended up on Prevacid. You had to disolve the tablet in a Tbl of H2O then give it to her 1st thing in the morning, especially before she had a bottle. It worked like butter ALL day!
4) You are a great Mom! I don't know how you do it with your oldest & a set of twins! :)
Five precious hours! WOW! That is fantastic, I know you felt like a new woman when you got up
