Almost There.

After much discussion and weighing of the pros and cons, we have decided that "Mary Kate and Ashely" will grace us with their long awaited presence next Thursday the 13th. This will make me 33 weeks exactly, and my Doctor feels that we are getting to that point where they will be safer outside of the womb rather than inside.

The monitoring is going well, but everyday we go, puts us at an increased risk for some type of an emergency. We all feel like it is best to have a plan in place that would allow me to have a 2nd round of steroids, have our family here, and most importantly have the proper staff here to care for them upon their arrival.

The situation is not ideal, we could still face many complications, but we feel good about our decision. We know that we have tons of support and prayers from across the country.

Love to you all and thanks for the support! It's nice to know that there is an end in sight. Stay tuned!

While I know it's not the ideal birthing circumstances, I firmly believe that everything is going to turn out just fine. You guys have so many people behind you with kind thoughts and gentle prayers. Hang in there!

I am the same way. When I was younger I would go out of town for days and days and never get the urge. As soon as I hit the driveway at home I had to run inside. They call it Safe Toilet Syndrome (gay, I know). I'm a little over it now that I'm older and my body is more like poop NOW! I HATE going in public because I always feel obligated to give courtesy flushes to keep the smell down and then that mist hits your ass..................

All right - I put the poop comment on the wrong post. I won't look foolish to anyone reading. No. Sorry!

The 13th is not unlucky... and even if it was, I think MK and A have already proven that they are stronger than luck.

I hope you're going to print out the posts from while you were in the hospital and let Kimtastic make you a scrapbook for the twins to laugh at in the future.

oh i will soo make mary kate and ashley a scrapbook. they are going to be BFFs throughout school. not only did they share the same womb, but the same amniotic sac. not a lot of twins can brag about that!
