If you even remotely know me, you know that I completely despise, hate, loathe, detest and dislike cold weather. If it gets cold, I stay inside. Having a child has only made this worse. Today I had to venture out, it was 29 degrees with a wind chill somewhere in the teens. It sucked. I went to one place, and came home. Most of you reading are Moms, and know the hassles of loading a child in and out of the car in "normal" weather, add in the coat, the hat, the gloves, and you can forget about it.
In my opinion if it's going to be this cold, it should snow, otherwise give me my 70 degree weather any day. Yes, I realize that I am a complete and total pansy, but I'm a southern girl for a reason. When it's as cold as a witches titty in a brass bra, I tend to think about relocation. South Florida? Mexico?
If you need me, I'll be at the house, bundled up in my sweats and blankets until the thermometer in my car no longer reads "ice."

Amen sister!!!!!
OMG I second it. It's miserable. The wind, ugh, the wind. I had three stops and almost cried the whole way through. I just kept telling Tooty, "Run, hurry, it's freezing!" She's now saying that over and over. My poor nose is red from the cold and wind. Too bad it's too late to sing Rudolph.
I really love the cold weather, but it was a bit windy today. We were going to the zoo, but decided to pass on it. Punkin was upset, but got over it.
But really? I sooooo miss snow!
I so agree !!! If it's gonna be this cold please let there be snow. But alas, our children will see snow, oh let's say never !!!
i hear ya girl!! i just got back from cincinatti where it was 21 degrees AND snowing. so i was excited to get home until we landed and the pilot announced that it was 23 degrees in bham. . .i thought to myself, "are you kidding me!?, i just left this stuff!" gotta love crazy bama weather, right!? =P
Obviously we are cut from the same mold. If it's below 70, it's cold. If it's below 50 it's mother effing freaking freezing cold. If it's colder than that, I want to emulate a bear and just hibernate. This is why I live in Texas. It's only THAT cold for about a month.
I think the cold temperatures in the south feel WAY worse than they do up North. I was in Canada, it was 36 degrees and I was happy as a clam.
Yesterday, it was about 40 degrees in Dallas and I about froze my hiney off. WTF???
I am with you...it is just as cold in my neck of the woods..I hate having to bundle up and go out...I could honestly go into hibernation in the winter.....Stay Warm!
I'm with you!
Of course, somehow we thought that NOW was a good idea to get a puppy. So you'll find me, about 9 times a day, bundled up, outside in the yard, saying "Izzie, GO POTTY!"
Did I write this post in my sleep? It sounds just like me. Exactly! I even carry blankets in my car. Also, I am very happy to hear you had a good check-up. Love you much, your aunt
Im RIGHT there with you! I keep begging hubby to move us somewhere warm!!
