RIP: Sassy, Pink Razr. November 2006 - October 2007

Sassy, Pink Razr, of Birmingham, was laid to rest today, in her original packaging. Although not even a year old, she provided much joy to her owners life. Providing her with the ability to take pictures of her beloved Munchkin, and sport the Auburn Fight Song as her ring tone, she was a good phone.

Her death was sudden, but given the owners previous history should have been expected. After drowning in a cup of water, she rallied, working for a little while longer, giving all of her loved ones false hope. She finally succumbed to her injuries when her battery failed a little after 10:00am Friday morning, all attempts at recharging proved to be, too little, too late.

Pink, Sassy Razr is survived by her owner, The Incoherent Rambler.

Rest in peace little phone, I will miss you.

hehe You are to funny!

Should we arrange to bring dinner by for you so you don't have to worry about cooking in your time of sorrow?

I only wish my Razr would die. If that makes me bad, I'm bad.

Too funny - I have a post titled RIP about my computer's demise. One of those I started but never finish.

Amazing how our cell phones become one with us. God bless its cellular soul.

Im posting for the first time but oddly enough just read another blog where an IPOD was put to rest after going through a washing machine. She (Curly Girl) was told to put it in a baggy full of rice and lo and behold it came back to life in a few days. Might be worth a try!

Like you blog...visit every so often.

My phone died on my 40th b-day while I celebrating in Vegas. It was kind of nice not having a constant intrusion.

Ok. I have NEVER felt like such a loser. I really thought you were talking about some kind of disposable razor. I know that Razr is a phone, but I'm soooo behind I didn't make the connection.

I'm getting a new phone. Stat.

How tragic! Although... A glass of water? Are you sure it was an accident? Sounds to me like it could have been a suicide.

Have you called the CSI: Birmingham team in yet to investigate?
